Nisha Sawhney, the founder of SnS Design, Inc specializes in the development of home appliances, consumer electronics, furniture and life style products.

In addition to being founder and president of SnS Design, Nisha is an Industrial Design Consultant, specializing in a wide range of products. Before launching SnS Design, Nisha worked as both product designer and project manager for global consumer product companies such as LG, Whirlpool, and Westinghouse.

Her professional experience as a project manager also includes a firm understanding of how to provide design leadership and global resource guidance for teams of designers, engineers, vendors and manufacturers

Nisha and her team of talented designers give her clients the one-on-one attention they deserve, working closely with them to fully understand their culture, technology, and target markets. Her extensive understanding of manufacturing and materials specifications insures that her clients develop products that attain healthy margins.

Nisha manages products from concept through completion, she frequently collaborates with other manufacturers and brings strategic alliances to the table when the scope of a project exceeds it’s resources. Nisha has a wide array of experience working with companies and manufacturers in the US, Japan, Brazil, Switzerland, Argentina, Israel, India, Italy and China.

Nisha was a valedictorian in 2000, earning a Masters Degree in Industrial design and Bachelors degree in Architecture from School of Planning and Architecture. She has served as Juror for The Consumer Electronics Innovation Awards since 2005. She has been awarded utility and design patents for several consumer products.
